Sailing Vessel Namaste was designed by John Simpson and built by Horizon Yachts in British Columbia in 1994. She is a 48 foot, steel, pilothouse cutter. Her previous owners sailed her from San Francisco to Deltaville, Virginia through the Suez Canal, visiting over 50 countries and traveling 55,000 miles. We purchased her in April of 2008. Her name was previously Gigolo. Over the summer and early fall of 2008 we made improvements and changed her name to Namaste. We are now on a year long journey taking her down the inland waterway to the Bahamas and beyond.
